dBD Communications are delighted to announce it has been selected by Thames Tideway East to supply communications equipment for the Thames Tideway project to develop a major new sewer system for the people of London.

We are proud to be part of the team of world class contractors selected by Tideway, to provide an innovative engineering approach that meets the latest environmental standards and provides London with a solution for many years to come.

Established in 2002, dBD has continued to grow into a leading communications company and has already established a significant market share within the Rail Industry. We are continuing to increase our market presence in the Construction Industry by providing “best in class” products and services to our clients and in this case matching the needs of the Tideway team with our equipment for use with things like Hydro Phase Digging, Caging, Craning and Mixing.

The Tideway project will use our Apollo system which provides simultaneous communication for up to 8 people. Communication range is typically up to around 60m but can be increased up to 500m through the use of antennas, subject to prevailing weather conditions and location.

The Apollo system is available in 2 different cases, a waterproof hard case and a carry flight bag used mostly for ground handling sectors of airports. The waterproof hard case selected for Thames Tideway is very durable and suitable for regular use on busy building/working sites.

We look forward to our specialised and trusted equipment being a very successful addition to Thames Tideway and are proud to be a part of this prestigious project.
