Martin Potts from Highways England is a chartered engineer Civil Engineer and has worked in the roads sector for most of his career. Initially he specialised as a bridge engineer working in consultancy before taking client responsibility for highway structure assets and policy matters whilst at the Highways Agency.
Over the last 10 years Martin has focussed on project delivery and was responsible for a number of successful projects across the south east, including; A34 Wolvercote Viaduct, A3 Hindhead Tunnel, A21 Tonbridge to Pembury, A23 Handcross to Warninglid and M25 widening.
Currently he is working as Consultation Manager for the Lower Thames Crossing, the biggest most transformative roads project in a generation, delivering a new crossing of the Thames that will provide much needed relief to Dartford Crossing. Working through the 47,034 responses to the recent public consultation he is happy to make time to share his experience with others at London Build 2016.
