I think it’s a very interesting mix across the construction industry of supplier, contractors and architects. What I particularly like is the mix of seminars and workshops, that liveliness and debate, I think the quality of the speakers and panel discussions has been really high.
We came with an open mind hoping to get good enquiries from predominantly structural engineers, civil engineers and architects. We’ve had enquiries predominantly from the south of England but from as far away as Korea, Lithuania, Holland, and Poland, so it’s also had a good international flavour for us as we are in an international group of companies selling our products right across the globe.
We’ve really enjoyed being here at London Build this year. It’s been a very exciting show, lots for our members to come and see. We’ve had very good attendance on our stand. Out of our 46,000 members, lots have come to visit us here, and there has also been lots of other things for them to see, lots of very interesting products, very interesting services, lots of new ideas for them to see at the show today. Even more important than that, lots of interesting CPD for them to take the benefit of, so we’ve really enjoyed it and I think our members have too.
London Build is a great opportunity to get face time with experts in their field and make contact with the key personnel that you want to meet. In an industry that is continually digitised, a forum for handshakes and conversation is much appreciated.
From a promotional point of view and a business point of view it’s been fantastic. We’ve networked, we’ve sold, we’ve had great interest, we’ve got good leads, it’s just rolled on and rolled on, it’s been so valuable. We’ve met some great people, we’ve formed partnerships and collaborations, so the network that we work with has grown, so I take away not only business but a bit of friendship too.
London Build for us has been absolutely fantastic, we can’t thank the London Build team enough for inviting us to be the charity representative of the show. We’ve had an absolutely fabulous time, had some fantastic conversations, some people are going to do “Lighthouse Day’s” for us to raise money for the charity and last night at the London Construction Awards was immense! Great fun and what’s more we raise about £3,000 out of the crowd. Can’t thank the London Build team enough! Immense!
London Build offers a great environment to get up to date with the latest innovations, news and opportunities in and around London. Hear from leading experts, see new products and network. Within all of this, sustainability features as a Integral component of a successful design and construction.
It is great to be back at London Build and continue to be part of an event which has rapidly established as a regular fixture of our industry’s calendar as well as NAWIC's own. Last year’s Women in Construction Morning Tea was a success and we are looking forward to building on it through our 2017 collaboration
The adrenaline starts to pump and I get excited about London Build when I think of the people who will be there, hoards of them too!
People from the construction sector’s different disciplines, different trades, different suppliers and different associations, from different parts of the UK, and internationally, gathering in one place to meet and discuss with a passion their different perspectives, their different ideas and their different needs. And, of course, the differences that they can “bring to the party” to add value to the construction process.
It all makes for a wonderfully energetic and highly interactive couple of days that produce moments at London Build’s seminars, workshops and individual stands that are illuminating, captivating and quite often down right funny!
Fundamentally I love the event because you come away energised from networking with some really friendly, intelligent people, who together can inform one another of where the industry is right now; where it is headed; and how you can play an integral part of that positive movement. Attending London Build is, most definitely, time well spent.
It was a fantastic, energetic event which gave the Supply Chain Sustainability School lots of networking opportunities with a wide variety of potential new members and allowed us to showcase our expertise on a broad range of sustainability topics
EEBS the CIS payroll specialists are excited to be returning to London Build after a successful show last year. With self-employment being a hot topic within the construction industry, EEBS will be offering attendees advice on CIS payroll compliance and answering your questions on employment and tax law.
The variety and quality of attendees and the networking opportunities alone make London Build a must for those looking for new opportunities. The event has proved a great success for Nationwide Traffic Solutions as we serve a wide range of industries from within the Construction trade. We were proud exhibitors 2016 and are very much looking forward to exhibiting again this year!
We had so many women in construction from all different backgrounds attending the women in construction afternoon tea in 2016, it was a fabulous opportunity for design managers, construction managers, architects, academics, engineers and clients to all have an opportunity to network and chat about the issues that shape the industry. I am really looking forward to this years event and would encourage all industries involving the built environment to promote this event to their staff.
Greenmill exhibited at London Build 2016, for the launch of ZoomLock concentric crimping technology. London Build was a great place to reach out the many industry areas included in construction and provided us with many excellent opportunities, especially attendees who feel the effect of hot-works and tight deadlines
London Build is the one stop shop for all built environment professionals in the capital, and we are particularly excited about the Women in Construction morning tea this year. It will be a great opportunity for aspirational women to network and develop professionally – we’ll see you there!
