PANEL: Resetting the Industry: AI, Diversity, and the Next Decade of Construction
As A.I. becomes increasingly integral to our industry, it is essential that, over the next decade, we continue progressing towards gender equality, and build on the achievements of the past ten years. To do so, and to minimise the bias that many have already started highlighting, it is crucial to involve a broader and more diverse range of people in shaping the AI tools that will define our industry's future.
This is why we would like to propose assembling a panel that includes people from our network who have developed AI tools and experts in equity, diversity, and inclusion. The discussion would explore the importance of recognizing and addressing bias in A.I., and why broader participation is vital as these technologies are adopted across our sector.
