PANEL: Change as Opportunity; Building Competency and Confidence in the Next Generation of Leaders
Join us on the London Build Diversity & Inclusion Stage, November 19th at 4pm, to discuss the importance of cross-disciplinary, multi-generational learning when navigating new regulations. Hosted by the NextGen Healthcare Network, this panel session will hear how senior leadership and next gen colleagues can work together to build competency and confidence through organisational change. Whether contractor, consultant, or client, the need for open and honest conversation, knowledge sharing and collaboration has never been more necessary. The complexities of meeting new regulations against the current design, procurement, and construction process have highlighted the need for complete system overhaul. From architects revising Stage 3 deliverable lists to main contractors reviewing how to evidence subcontractor competency, company procedures are under scrutiny and change is imminent, if not already here. The senior leadership of today are tasked with rewriting policies that will govern working practice far into the future, who and how can they consult with those implementing change on-the-ground?
2025 is an overwhelming but exciting time to be a part of the industry; organisational change has begun and strategies for upskilling are being agreed upon, involving different levels of experience in this process will only strengthen the decision-making of today, prepare leaders of tomorrow and ensure the learning of this change of tide is woven into the future leaders of the industry.
