By switching from threaded rod and channel supports to Gripple wire rope kits, it is estimated that 1.2kg of embodied carbon is saved per 1m of wire rope in comparison to threaded rod. Gripple wire rope kits can be supplied with a wide variety of end fixing options to suit different substrates, as well as specific fire rated ranges which are backed up by independent 3rd party fire test reports up to F120 at 1,049 degrees Celsius.
