My name is Gail Mohammed and I am an Associate Director at AtkinsR'alis and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building. I am a Quantity Surveyor by trade and I lead our Estimating team in London. I manage the commercial aspects of a construction project from inception to final account. I have worked on residential, infrastructure and rail projects. I get to work on interesting and diverse projects. At the moment I am working on HS2, the largest rail project in the Europe as a lead cost assurance consultant. I am also involved in EDI as a co-lead for our Complex Infrastructure team. It provides an interesting contrast to working on construction projects all the time.
