Kathryn Morement

I started off in the construction industry mainly the asbestos sector at the age of 18 years old, I was one if the limited number of women in the industry on site back 20 years ago. I passed through the ranks of a male dominated industry and finding my inner voice to be heard was a tough thing that I had to learn. I never let the comments of being told “your not good enough as your not a man” stop me in my determination to get to the top. I now lead a team where I am progressing the next talents of the women in construction and I feel privileged to be their mentor with my experience and expertise.
