After 30+ years in engineering and construction with several high-profile positions Paula has gained Chartered Fellowships for the ICE and CMI. Paula currently works for Sir Robert McAlpine doing her dream job where she helps staff with their professionally qualifications and manages the Social Value for her project. Paula is passionate about inspiring the next generation and the need for a more sustainable future for all. Paula is an active member of several groups who promote construction and engineering. Amongst them is being the ICE Trustee and Panel Chair for the flagship international publication ICE Proceedings: Civil Engineering and chairing the Women's Engineering Society's Climate Emergency Group. She also sits on SRMs LGBT+ Affinity Network and Co-Chairs the Ge der Equality Network.
