Building Control has been at the heart of what we do, however as the built environment continues to evolve, so do building regulations and the requirements of our clients. Through the acquisitions of Oculus Building Consultancy and LB Building Control in 2017, Assent Group has expanded to become a multi-licenced business, providing both continuity and resilience for our clients. Operating as part of the Assent Group, with integrated technology systems and processes, these businesses support the growth of our network, by providing specialist areas of expertise and expansion of our geographic coverage. In 2022 Assent acquired leading fire safety training provider Xact Consultancy & Training Limited. This enables us to provide high quality training and qualifications in Fire safety to the Fire Service, Fire Risk Assessors and Building users (duty holders). We continue to develop our range of expert technical advice and support across the built environment.
