Firms Win '500m Deal with City of London

A dozen firms hold a place on the split framework which will run for four years, covering an area of over 800 properties, in and around the Square'Mile.

'

Construction and refurbishment projects for the Bank of England estate, the City of London Police stations, the Barbican Centre and schools within the area will be included in this '500m'framework.

'

Morgan Sindall Construction's area director for London, Richard Dobson, said: 'This is a key framework covering many of the capital's most iconic and important buildings and locations and we are delighted to have been'appointed.

'We look forward to drawing on our extensive experience delivering high-quality projects in central London as we work in partnership with the City of London to support their estates'strategy.'

Morgan Sindall, Osborne and Gilbert-Ash were included in the six firms which made it on to the larger of lot of the split framework for major construction work between '4m-'15m meaning that the total value of work procured under this lot could reach''500m.

Six firms were also appointed to the smaller lot for works between '1m-'4.6m with the total value of work under this deal could reach as high as''200m.
