The London Construction Awards raises over £4000 for charity partner CRASH

The London Construction Awards took place on the 22nd of September, at the Novotel London West. Led by global-smash hit comedian Dom Joly, the awards celebrated all of the major achievements, developments and innovations across the UK’s construction industry over the past year. 

The London Construction Awards chose to support CRASH as their charity partner for 2023 - the construction industry’s charity that helps homelessness and hospice organisations with their construction projects – creating places that care for people when they’re at their most vulnerable. 

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of attendees, the London Construction Awards is proud to announce that the fundraiser raised £4017. The donations raised will make a huge difference to CRASH's work with homelessness charities and hospices.

One project that CRASH was able to support and has recently completed is The Manna in Islington. The Manna has been created to offer a safe haven for people who are sleeping rough. People can drop in for a shower, a hot meal, have the chance to wash their clothes and to speak to a friendly face. CRASH have helped the Manna to refurbish their building, including a brand new shower room, which can be used up to 18 times a day! This is a project that will make a huge difference to the people who visit, the staff and the local community. 

The London Construction Awards would like to thank all of the attendees who donated so generously, and to thank to CRASH team and volunteers for giving up their time to support the event.
