Who are you, and what does your company do?
Strongdor is a British manufacturer of bespoke steel door-sets, with 4 sites proudly based in Lancashire. We specialise in producing high-quality bespoke steel doors designed to meet the demands of various project locations across the UK. Every door-set is built to order, allowing customers to create their desired specification to suit the requirements of their project. From fire-rated and security-rated doors to acoustic and specialist applications, our products are built to combine performance, compliance and durability.
Will you be launching any new products or running any live demonstrations at your stand?
Strongdor will be showcasing 7 full-size bespoke steel door-sets, each manufactured to different specifications to demonstrate the versatility of our range. From fire-rated and security-rated doors to a variety of hardware options, finishes and configurations, visitors will have the opportunity to explore solutions suited to a wide range of applications. Our steel door experts will be on hand throughout the event to discuss specifications, answer questions and help visitors find the right door for their project.

What do you see as the most pressing challenge facing the industry today, and what needs to change to address it?
One of the biggest challenges in the industry is the growing complexity of fire, smoke, security and thermal regulations. With so many standards, certifications and compliance requirements to consider, many specifiers and contractors are concerned about choosing the wrong product.
Transparency in testing and certification is therefore more important than ever. Customers need confidence that the products they are specifying are suitable for their application and fully compliant. At Strongdor, we help demystify the specification process through expert technical support, CPDs and clear guidance, making it easier for customers to make informed decisions with confidence.
