#SaveTheLondonArts

This year we are running #SaveTheLondonArts, raising money for two youth theatre groups that are based in London and providing them with much-needed support. COVID-19 and social distancing almost decimated the arts industry, with a number of smaller companies unable to continue and being forced to shut down entirely due to a lack of funds.

The money raised by this fundraiser will support the two companies' future performances, go towards equipment, sets and costumes and support London's future artists, a number of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds.

For anyone that posted across social media at the show using our hashtag #LondonBuild, we will make a donation to Save the London Arts and you'll be entered into the draw to WIN one of the amazing prizes listed below!

Impact Dance

Impact Dance

Impact Dance is a Hip-Hop Theatre Company, Street Dance Organisation and Educational Facilitator with a UK-wide reach and a global footprint. Founded by Hakeem Onibudo in 1995, Impact Dance empowers young people aged 11-19 through dance training, mentoring, national and international performances.

They support community cohesion by bringing together young people and families of diverse backgrounds, particularly engaging young people considered ‘hard-to-reach’ and ‘under-privileged’ to develop their performative, creative and life skills. They do this through Impact Academy, their weekly Hip-Hop training programme, and their youth performance company Impact Youth.
