I believe mental health is as important as physical health and we are striving to have a work culture where our team feel comfortable asking for support. We have taken onboard the ‘5 simple steps’ from Lighthouse Club who I did my Mental Health First Aid training with, this is the beginning for us. We have increased team social events and are starting a 5-a-side football team. I saw the Steve Kerslake’s program on iPlayer and how valuable giving people the chance to talk is.
