Alessandro is an Associate Director within the WSP UK Sustainability and Climate Change team; he has several years’ experience working for contractors and consultancies in the energy and sustainability sector. He leads the energy efficiency and decarbonisation advisory services for the built environment, working for large enterprises providing strategic support to decarbonise their assets, portfolio and operations. Alessandro works also on developing decarbonisation strategies for energy intensive and public and private sector clients, helping them achieve their carbon neutrality targets through implementation of physical measures. Alessandro’s main areas of expertise are energy efficiency, energy management, energy and carbon legislation, project management and implementation of energy and carbon savings projects across buildings and operations. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of Chartered Institution of building Services Engineers. He is also a Chartered Energy Manager and member of the Energy Institute.
