With three patents and an engineering PhD already to his name, Alex is an enthusiastic and pivotal member of ARC Building Solutions. As the product & innovation manager, he has been the driving force behind some of its most impactful innovations and initiatives, with safer and more sustainable buildings and homes being his ultimate goal. Establishing and leading a product development team of three, Alex is committed to imparting his knowledge and supporting their technical development, and very recently helped two colleagues pass their IFE Level 2 and 3 exams in 2024—all while constantly looking for ways to improve products and processes.

His recent innovation, the Retrofit Eaves Insulator, addresses a serious problem, drastically reducing damp and mould in homes, improving overall health and ventilation. Alex was intrinsic in earning the CCPI assessment for the Cavity Stop Sock range and his passion and leadership make Alex not just an invaluable asset to ARC, but a key player in the construction industry, enhancing the comfort and health of UK residents.
