Alex is currently leading Skanska UK's building operating unit digital team. Alex and the team are overseeing the implementation of Skanska’s minimum digital standards; a set of processes followed on all of Skanska’s building projects. As a passionate advocate for interoperability and openBIM, Alex pursues an inclusive approach to digital implementation which recognises all members of the project team. As well as his full-time role at Skanska, Alex leads the ‘Building Domain’ within BuildingSMART UK & Ireland and in April 2023 Alex was elected to the international ‘Building Domain’.
