Alex Plenty
Head of Digital Construction,
Skanska
Alex is currently leading Skanska UK's building operating unit digital team. Alex and the team are overseeing the implementation of Skanska's minimum digital standards; a set of processes followed on all of Skanska's building projects. As a passionate advocate for interoperability and openBIM, Alex pursues an inclusive approach to digital implementation which recognises all members of the project team. As well as his full-time role at Skanska, Alex leads the 'Building Domain' within BuildingSMART UK & Ireland and in April 2023 Alex was elected to the international 'Building Domain'.
