Amritha Achuthan is a specialist architectural consultant and a highly skilled Passive Fire protection advisor for projects at Laing O’Rourke contracting. She has been awarded the ‘Best Architectural Technologist’ of year at the Women in Construction and Engineering awards 2023.
Amritha has worked across the globe on some of the most iconic buildings where she has developed a reputation as a designer with technical excellence. At Laing O’Rourke she is part of the Central Fire team as an architectural technical consultant in fire safety management: a dynamic, multidisciplinary advisory role working alongside a pioneering team committed to raising the standards of a change-resistant industry. She has presented papers at international forums, drawing attention to fire safety and sustainability issues in construction and is also an active champion of diversity within the workplace and the construction industry at large.
