Amy Fogg
Amy Fogg is a Section Engineer with Laing O'Rourke, currently delivering substation projects for National Grid. She holds a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bath. Throughout her career, Amy has often found herself as the only woman on site, facing challenges many of her male colleagues never had to consider, including wearing PPE that simply wasn't designed to fit women properly. After sharing her experience of finally receiving correctly fitting PPE in a LinkedIn post that resonated across the industry, Amy is here today to discuss why inclusive PPE is not just about comfort, but about safety, confidence and ensuring everyone can thrive in construction.
