Andrew Hunting

Andrew has focused on reducing carbon in structures through working with industry and his PhD studies in building resilience for structures against a changing climate. His role as a Project Director at the Kings Cross Google head office has developed his experience in mega complex structures and now pursues a passion of leading a team developing low carbon concrete mixes. This innovative new area of research can have an extremely significant impact on the overall embodied carbon of structures however is being balanced against the needs of insurers, code compliances, and programme risks.
