Andrew Usher is the Group Managing Director for Developments at Places for People (PfP), the UK’s leading social enterprise. In this role, Andrew oversees the full spectrum of PfP’s development activities, guiding one of the largest and most ambitious pipelines in the social housing sector. His leadership is instrumental in delivering transformative projects while continuing to expand PfP’s national development footprint.

Andrew joined Places for People in May 2023 as Group Development Director, bringing with him over 18 years of experience from Countryside Partnerships. During his tenure at Countryside, he held several senior positions, most recently serving as Managing Director for the South London region. His extensive background in urban regeneration and large-scale residential development has been pivotal in advancing PfP’s mission to create sustainable, inclusive communities across the UK.
