As Senior HSQES Manager at VolkerFitzpatrick Rail Infrastructure, Angela leads strategic initiatives that embed safety and wellbeing into the heart of operational delivery.

A passionate advocate for mental health and employee wellbeing, her leadership within the Southern Renewals Enterprise—a 10-year framework with Network Rail and industry partners—has been instrumental in shaping a proactive safety culture across complex, high-risk environments.

Angela’s approach blends data-driven insight with human-centred leadership. She designs and implements wellbeing initiatives that go beyond compliance, fostering psychological safety, emotional intelligence, and open dialogue across teams. Her work earned her the 2023 VolkerWessels Health & Safety Award, recognising her outstanding contribution to the business.
