Angela Dapper

Angela has joined Grimshaw early 2019, in the role of Principal, currently overseeing their hotels and commercial projects. Prior to this Angela was a Partner at Denton Corker Marshall Architects. Angela has undertaken work in a variety of sectors, recently completing 20 Farringdon Street, 11 storey office project; One Leicester Square Hotel; and the reopening of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hyde Park. She has also been a part of several collaborations with other Architects, most recently with Sn'hetta for the Aesop London flagship store in Chelsea. Notably, Angela led the new Stonehenge Visitor Centre, taking the project from design concept stage to completion. Following the widespread success of this project, Angela was shortlisted for the Architect's Journal Emerging Woman Architect of the Year, 2014. Alongside her work Angela is involved with The Bartlett and London Metropolitan Universities; she is an Ambassador for the Architect's Benevolent Society; a non-executive Director for Studio BAD; and a member of the WAN awards jury. Angela speaks at a number of industry events about Hotel and Office design and innovation; Equality and Diversity; and Health and Wellbeing in Architecture and Construction.
