Director , Angelic Bathrooms Limited

As a 23-year-old woman in the construction industry, owning a bathroom showroom, and supplying large-scale projects, I am excited to apply for the position of ambassador. My love for construction started at a young age, watching my dad transform spaces into beautiful and functional areas. As I grew older, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in this field. After earning a degree in Accounting and Finance, I realised that my true passion was in construction. I decided to follow my dreams and open my own business, Angelic Bathrooms. As a business owner, I have learned the importance of effective communication, attention to detail, and project management skills. Through Angelic Bathrooms, I have had the opportunity to work on various large-scale projects. My extensive knowledge of the industry and the best brand in the world allow me to source the best products for my clients, no matter their budget. I take pride in working closely with my clients to bring their visions to life. As an ambassador, I would bring my passion for the construction industry, as well as my experience in business and project management. I believe that my unique perspective as a young woman in a male-dominated industry would allow me to connect with a diverse range of people and inspire others to pursue their dreams, regardless of any barriers they may face. I am excited about the opportunity to represent your organisation and contribute to its mission of promoting diversity, inclusion, and excellence.

Statement:
Driving diversity, equality, and inclusion in construction is not just the right thing to do, it's essential for the growth and success of the industry. By embracing diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds, we can create a more innovative, collaborative, and effective construction industry that benefits everyone. We must ensure that all individuals, regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, or background, have equal opportunities and are valued for their contributions. Only by working together to foster an inclusive culture can we create a more equitable and prosperous future for the construction industry and the world at large.
