Speakers

Dr Kypraiou is a Lecturer in Engineering, Fellow at Churchill College and a Researcher based at the Whittle Laboratory (University of Cambridge). She studied Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University (NTUA) in Greece and completed an M.Phil. in Energy Technologies and a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cambridge. After her Ph.D., which was an industrial project with Rolls Royce, she has been working independently on transferring her technical expertise from the Aerospace to the Construction Industry. Her focus is on the development of low-cost innovative technologies with applications in the reduction of energy consumption and emissions in the construction industry and the energy sector in general.
