I am the Project Director of Viella Chartered Land, a construction management consultancy in London. I am a graduate of the Pedro Henriquez Ureña University, Dominican Republic. I hold a BSc in Civil Engineering, an MSc in International Project Management from the Glasgow Caledonian University and another MSc from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Currently, I am a PhD student at the University of Reading, researching women in construction. My doctoral thesis concerns exploring the experience of women who own and manage a small construction firm in the UK.
