I would describe myself as outgoing and positive in personality with a ‘can-do’ mindset. I believe my meticulous organisation and effective communication skills are a couple of my key strengths. I am a confident individual who contributes to an existing, all male, highly effective sales team. I provide a proactive, self-disciplined, and self-motivated approach, in what can sometimes be a challenging environment. I enjoy situations which challenge me because I like to innovate, us my imagination and skills, to ensure I provide the best-possible customer service and business outcome. Overall, I am always looking at ways to improve not only myself, but women in similar male orientated environments. I see this as a pathway to enhance my confidence, reputation, and personal growth, such that I can become an even better sales professional. I have recently represented ACO in a feature for Lanes Review, highlighting women in construction for The London Build. This has encouraged me to look at becoming an ambassador for Women in Construction. ACO as a company employs a workforce which reflects a wide demographic. As the only female currently in my role and having achieved a measure of success in what I do, I believe it is important to use my experience to help represent other women within the construction industry. There should be no limits to what women can achieve. If successful at becoming an ambassador I would look forward to networking with other female professionals within the industry.
