Antje Saunders
Antje Saunders joined SNG in 2025 as Design Director in a new strategic leadership role to lead on the implementation of good architecture and urban design across SNG’s portfolio, and guide long-term planning and development with a view to creating high-quality, future proofed, nature-positive homes that will be the catalyst for thriving, sustainable communities for future generations. She champions, educates and supports SNG’s three operating regions in this regard in order to leave a positive impact on our communities and planet.
She brings with her a wealth and richness of design, urban regeneration and award-winning placemaking expertise from her previous role as Director at Allies and Morrison Architects, where she was a key contributor to the practice’s work in urbanism and co-founded the practice's Masterplanning Group.
She has lectured at the University of Westminster, Loughborough University, University of Sheffield and the University of East London and she is a member of the Kensington and Chelsea Quality Review Panel and the Waltham Forest Design Review Panel.
