Archanna Arunathevan

I am Archanna and I am the Group Sustainability Manager for McLaren Construction Group. With expertise in embodied carbon and a structural engineering background, my aim is to bridge the gap between McLaren’s group level ambitions and project level activities and challenges. McLaren is a true build partner, and we turn the dial up or down to ensure our services are bespoke and meet the Client and Project requirements. Sustainability at McLaren has evolved and is now embedded within our global risk and business resilience strategy but still encompasses fundamental areas such as green certifications and carbon. The Sustainability team at McLaren are working to meet the technology barrier, by understanding what innovations and technologies are out in the market and implementing them on our projects where feasible. We then look to push the technology barrier by always being on the look out for emerging initiatives whilst collaborating with our Supply Chain. As Group Sustainability Manager I strive to influence stakeholders, explore with others and learn continuously so we can collectively be authentic and transparent about sustainability within construction.
