Bea Young
With over 20 years of experience in residential and mixed-use design, Bea brings exceptional strategic leadership to BGY. As a registered architect (ARB, RIAI) and former Partner at WW+P, she has successfully delivered award-winning projects valued at over £300 million across London and internationally.
Her portfolio spans innovative Passivhaus social housing to large-scale masterplans, including the recently completed Merton scheme of 100 affordable homes meeting Passivhaus standards. Bea's expertise in navigating complex planning environments is demonstrated through her role on Design Review Panels for four London Boroughs and her ability to secure challenging consents through innovative design solutions.
Recognised for her thought leadership, Bea sits on British Homes Award judging panels, is an invited speaker on sustainability, and actively mentors younger architects whilst championing diverse studio inclusion in major projects. Her collaborative approach has fostered lasting relationships with local authorities and developers.
