I work as a health and safety advisor supporting and assisting clients and project teams in the safe delivery of a project. I am a mental health first aider and help to raise awareness through conversation and awareness  

Statement: Building a supportive and open culture around mental health will help remove the stigma around talking about the subject and will help to reduce the numbers in construction who suffer in silence without seeking support and help. By raising awareness and openness on the subject it will help reduce the numbers in construction who may have not asked for help in the past and reduce the number of people suffering from poor mental health.
