Branca is a senior architect with the humanitarian architecture charity Article 25 where she heads the Dominica Housing Recovery Project. She has studied and worked in across Europe and Asia before making London her home. These experiences in different countries have helped her better understand architecture and its relationship with the social and cultural values of each society, the similarities and differences between places and how people use space. Before joining Article 25, Branca worked mainly on large scale and high rise projects in the UK as a site architect. However, her continued interest in sustainable design and community engagement since early in her career, along with a belief that architecture can transform lives, drove her to join Article 25.
