I have been working in construction health and safety for 7 years. Initially working in H&S administration I was given the opportunity to train to become a H&S Advisor. I have recently completed my NVQ level 5 and am working towards becoming a Chartered Member of IOSH. I am a skilled communicator and in my job I get the opportunity to engage with personnel at all levels and influence a change. I am lucky to be a part of a company which is working towards diversity and equality in male-dominated industry. Having lived abroad I am used to working in unfamiliar circumstances and am quick to adapt to new ideas and ways of doing things, I find this previous experience useful considering the multilingual and multicultural industry I work in. I also take an active interest in wellbeing in the workplace and have contributed to my organsiation's health and wellbeing plan and focus areas.
