Caterina Mangia is Head of Sustainable Design at David Chipperfield Architects. She joined DCA in 2024 to lead the evolution and implementation of the practice's sustainable design vision, ensuring it is integrated into every aspect of the design process and business operations.

A qualified architect with over 20 years of experience, Caterina is also a certified Passivhaus designer and holds an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from the Bartlett School of Architecture. Prior to joining DCA, she worked at Hilson Moran, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy where she developed her expertise in environmental design, net zero carbon strategy, circularity, and holistic approaches to sustainable design.
