Student, Manchester School of Architecture
I am a driven and self-motivated student studying at the Manchester School of Architecture for my Part 1 Architecture degree. I am passionate about creating a more diverse and inclusive platform for students to express themselves freely regardless of their backgrounds. As the Undergraduate BLM Representative in the Manchester School of Architecture BLM group founded by MArch students, I have worked with RIBA North West to introduce the Family Scheme, which helps increase employment opportunities for minority students and allows architects/students at different stages in their careers to support each other. Whilst being the Vice President at TEDxUniversityOfManchester, I also strive for a more diverse list of speakers with content that revolve around acceptance and inclusivity. I am looking forward to completing my undergraduate course this year and hope to continue creating positive changes in both the school and the industry about inclusion and diversity in architecture.
