With no formal qualifications and no education higher than GCSEs I worked hard to gain the position of Asset Manager for a large ICP with 4 years of dedication and hard work. Working hard to understand not only my role but those of other around me and why they were all important. I soon decided that I wanted to know more, learn more and truly experience site life. 18 months ago I started in my role as a Building Inspector. Every day is different: a new challenge, a new regulation, a new method. The opportunities are endless. I am currently completing my Level 6 NVQ in Senior Inspection Management with further ambitions for Chartership.

Statement:

There is a role in construction for everyone. Gender should not be a deciding factor. The industry offers so much that goes beyond any type of constraints. By driving for more diversity, we are increasing the rate of change in the industry. Supplying more ideas, better quality and improving homes in the process.
