Chris Stevens CSyP FSyI F.IRSM MSc BSc LCGI CCGI

Chris has honed his expertise in protecting crowded places and crime prevention through environmental design, particularly but not exclusively in transport security. Alongside other security projects, Chris has been an independent principal security advisor to major rail and metro projects in the UK and Australia, including Crossrail and Sydney Metro. Some of these projects are now functional and provide transport facilities with inbuilt security features, most of which are not visible but are there to provide safe and secure environments now and in the foreseeable future. 

Chris holds a BSc in Policing and an MSc in Security Studies. A former counterterrorism-trained Police Officer and now the director of a multi-award-winning security consultancy, he has an in-depth knowledge of threat and vulnerability delivered in physical security through pragmatic and realistic methods. 

He is a highly active member of the security industry and currently serves as a Security Institute Director, leading in Protective Security, Built Environment, and Counterterrorism.
