Cllr Tom Creswell

Tom Creswell is the Cabinet Member for Planning and Development at the Royal Borough of Greenwich, a role he took on in May 2026 shortly after his election as a councillor for Abbey Wood. He leads the Borough's planning agenda at a pivotal moment, overseeing the Royal Greenwich 2040 Local Plan through its final stages, building partnerships to deliver 8000 homes and 1000 jobs at Charlton Riverside, and working with partners across government to deliver the Thamesmead New Town.
Before entering local politics, Tom worked in communications across a range of industries spanning housing, defence, financial services, energy infrastructure, and manufacturing.
He is also the Chairman of South East Enterprise.
