After struggling with career direction from university graduation and working through various jobs, I made the decision to retrain and was accepted on to the Transport for London Project Management Apprenticeship in 2019. During my two-year scheme I had the opportunity to work on some great projects including the London Overground Barking Riverside Extension, HS2, DLR and the new London Underground Knightsbridge step-free access entrance. I gained my APM Project Management Qualification and continued as an Assistant Project Manager at TfL for another year. I have been in project management and the Rail Industry for over 4 years and now work as a consultant at CPC Project Services currently seconded to MACE Construction as a Rail Interface project manager supporting the London Underground works of a commercial development project.
