David has over 20 years’ experience in sustainability leadership on projects around the world. He has a passion for integration and simplicity which lead to regenerative solutions. Since his transition to Architecture firms in 2020, David spent much of his career leading sustainability teams on behalf of multi-disciplinary engineering firms based in Australia and South-East Asia. David relocated to the UK in 2019 and is now the Sustainable Design lead for the EMEA region with Populous. This involves integrating sustainability principles into public assembly buildings, including stadiums, arenas and urban design projects. In addition, he is focussed on the internal aspects the business, mentoring staff and helping the business meet its own climate goals.
