I studied Architecture then completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Design and a Masters in Interior Design. I worked as an Architectural Assistant, then an Interior Designer for over 7 years before joining Overbury Major Projects as a Design Manager. I have been in this role for over 2 years and love every moment of it. I have had the opportunity to work on some of the most high profile, large scale fit-out projects in the industry during my career as well as working on projects in other sectors such as Residential (heritage listed and new built), Aviation and Science.

Statement:

Ignoring women means businesses lose out on 50% of the talent pool. So much value has been added in other industries, so it is refreshing to see the number of women entering construction is on the rise. We, as women, who have made it into the sector owe it to other women as well as other discriminated communities to support each other to improve diversity and inclusion within our sector.
