I am Managing Director of Cadventure providing software, training and consulting services for Architects, Engineers and construction companies. We work with UK and across Europe with global organisations who are delivering the largest Infrastructure projects.
We also work closely with a large number of small to medium sized enterprises advising on their design and engineering software requirements also showing where they can make productivity gains through investment in support and training for their staff.
My Journey: With a degree in Economics from Lancaster University and MBA from Cranfield School of Management, I joined the family business becoming Managing Director in 2013.
In 2019 I became a Non-Executive Director for the nima. I also judge the European Women in Engineering and Construction Awards and act as a mentor for Women in BIM – an organisation that supports women in their careers in the Built Environment
In 2022 I was honoured to be nominated for a BIM Hero Award as part of the BIM Coordinators Summit. In 2023 I was privileged to be selected as the first 30 Inspirational Business Women in STEM and Construction – an award was presented to me by Baroness Sandy Verma at the House of Lords.
I am passionate about implementing structured information management strategies and digital transformation in a planned, measured and cost-effective way to benefit the business to reduce risk, manage cost and derive productivity benefits for the team and its clients. I hate to see money wasted through following the crowd or inordinate pressure to conform when there is no sound business reason to do so.
