With a creative background, as a qualified jeweller and silversmith, Emily’s support and confidence in providing wellbeing support & mentorship and highlighting the importance of mental health has impacted Grimshaw since she joined the practice 19 years ago.
With personal struggles, overcoming addiction, Emily understands the critical part we all play in the workplace. Today she manages this passion within her position as Head of Communities and co leads the Health & Wellbeing team, along with her EA responsibilities to Grimshaw’s London Managing Partner. She is also co-chair of the ‘Architects Mental Wellbeing Forum’ since 2023.
Emily was a finalist in this years 2025 AJ100 Mentor of the Year.
