The construction industry is already diverse, the issues lie where this isn't supported. The burden of challenging the norms should not rely on the those within the minority but with those who see the value in those as part of minority around them. I challenge you to think of those you work with that provide the best value to your business and whether they are within the minority. Support and inclusion comes from all directions. To drive change and increase inclusion it takes one person at a time, one step at a time. The industry has changed and will continue to change.
