Emma is Head of ESG at Transport for London (TfL)'s property company. Emma is establishing and leading a team who are ensuring that TfL ' which is one of the capital's largest landowners - future-proofs its existing commercial property portfolio, and continues to take a world-leading approach to building thousands of new, high-quality homes and offices - all the while helping create a greener, kinder and more connected London.

Prior to this role, Emma was a Senior Development Manager at managing a range of major residential-led schemes across the capital.'

Specialising in partnerships, Emma's experience establishing and working in joint ventures with house builders, developers and housing associations has given her first-hand insight into making these projects a success. She also seeks to strengthen collaboration with development partners and other public sector bodies - for example championing an educational engagement programme to help improve the inclusivity and diversity of the built environment sector. '

Emma joined TfL in 2016 after starting her career in the Planning & Development team at Gerald Eve, and subsequently managing a strategic land portfolio at the Church Commissioners. Her career path has given Emma a breadth of experience - across site assembly, planning and design, delivery and business operations.'
