Flora Harley
Flora spearheads the development and delivery of the ESG Research strategy for Knight Frank. By taking a thematic and data-led approach, and continuous stakeholder engagement, Flora and the team identify market drivers and resultant dynamics arising from ESG trends across property sectors, focussing on the industry’s pressing questions.
Flora authors and distributes the monthly 'Sustainable Property Insights' newsletter to c. 5,000 subscribers via email and LinkedIn to synthesise the latest industry news and research into an easily digestible format. This is supplemented by ad-hoc blogs and deeper investigations in report formats, to ensure the diverse needs of real estate industry actors are met. Flora also regularly delivers both internal and external presentations, features on panels at industry-leading events, and has been quoted in leading publications.
Flora joined Knight Frank in 2017 as part of the Residential Research team to provide analysis on geopolitical and economic trends on global wealth. This included a role as executive editor of The Wealth Report in 2022 and 2023, having contributed to four previous editions prior to this and two since then from a sustainability perspective.
Before joining Knight Frank, Flora worked as an economist at KPMG predominantly focussing on economic impact analysis and the UK Government as an economist in the Department for Communities and Local Government (now MHCLG).
