Gavin Summerson

Gavin Summerson is Built Environment team lead at Connected Places Catapult. His team leads the Catapult’s work on housing, standards and delivery of the Governments Digital Construction International Programme. An environmental scientist by background, he specialises in using standards to drive innovation and change in cities, transport and the built environment. Prior to his time at the Catapult, Gavin led Digital construction and Smart Cities programmes at the British Standards Institute and development of the BREEAM Green Building standards during his 10 years at the Building Research Establishment.
