I work in the Executive Search industry for Director level Construction, Design, Architect, Fit Out individuals. The majority of placements we have get filled by men as the ratio of men to women in this industry is extraordinary. I would love to discover more about the stories & personal experiences of both the 'good' & 'bad' sides of being a woman in construction, so I can hopefully increase the level of Female placements we make with our Clients. Additionally, to discover more Construction / Fit Out / Design companies run by women who I can engage with and hopefully bolster up their businesses with more like-minded women.
I believe inclusion and diversity in the workplace improves the company's morale by creating a harmonious environment due to respect and value of individuals, resulting in better design outcomes as disputes decrease from less clashing personalities and 'Alpha' attitudes become diluted as there's a variety of natures.
