Since October 2021 Giulia joined Mace as Design Manager in the Berkeley Square team, where she has successfully led the Novated Design Team in supplying the stage 5 Construction information.

Giulia has actively driven the Fire compliance conversations with Building control and led the Stage 5 review together with IGNIS fire Engineers to ensure route of compliance for the innovative use of exposed CLT within the building slabs.

Graduating at Politecnico di Milano and TU Delft University of Technology, Giulia spent most of her working life between Italy, Netherlands and UK, where she worked for architectural firms varying from medium to large size and engaged with all aspects of the job: conceptual design, producing planning applications, preparing technical design drawings and details, managing both internal and external packages, liaising with clients/consultants/subcontractors and construction phases including site overview and delivering up to completion within programme and budget.

Amongst others project, Giulia had a leading architectural role for a 740,000 sq ft of high-quality retail annexed to Westfield shopping mall in West London, and the prestigious new UCL Marshgate building in East London during her time at Sheppard Robson.
